My name is David Morais Ferreira, I was born and raised in Luxembourg and I am currently finishing my master’s in Germany.
As many people do, I stumbled upon OpenStreetMap while looking for a map I could use for hiking and geocaching on my smartphone without having to pay for a mobile data plan. Then in 2017 I decided to create an account to contribute back to the map I had been using and relying on for so long.

I am the United States ambassador to Turkmenistan. I live in Ashgabat, and depending on one’s point of view am a professional diplomat, an agricultural economist, a political scientist, a Russian linguist, or an amateur cartographer. My official biographic sketch is here.

Or, if your left blinker is broken, a route planner with only turns right can be provided. A lot is possible, this is your chance to build your own truly personalized routing engine.

I am Lionel Giard, I am a geographer from Brabant Wallon, from a village near Louvain-la-Neuve. I have a masters in geography since 2016, which I got from the Catholic Universite of Louvain (UCL). I work with GIS application on a daily basis. Besides my passion for geography and carthography, I also like to study history. Those two passions can easily be combined.
